Clinical Psychological Services

Emily works with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues including:

  • Anxiety disorders (generalised worry, panic disorder, social anxiety, separation anxiety)

  • Child behavioural difficulties

  • Low mood and depression

  • OCD

  • Study stress

  • ADHD

  • Specific phobias (e.g. spiders, needles)

  • Chronic health support

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Grief and loss

  • Adjustment difficulties

  • School refusal

Emily’s area of special interest is working with children (3-13 years) with anxiety disorders and chronic and complex health conditions.

Emily works collaboratively with her clients to empower them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Emily offers evidence-based therapeutic interventions including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

  • Parent Management Training (PMT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Supervision
